12/18/04 High Peaks (Peaks and Valleys/Phari) dk bay filly 3, bred and raced by Berkshire Stud, won an open allowance race at Aqueduct to increase her earnings to $172,961. The first foal out of Phari, High Peaks placed second in the Listed Ruthless Stakes at Aqueduct this year.

.12/15/04 FAIT ACCOMPLI (Louis Quatorze/Passive Action) b filly 3, won the featured open allowance race at Aqueduct by 1 1/2 lengths. Previously the winner of the Saratoga Dew Stakes at Saratoga, FAIT ACCOMPLI has now earned $173,608.

11/5/04 Cloudy All Day (Maria's Mon/Phari) gr filly 2, broke her maiden by 2 1/2 lengths to become Phari's second winner from her first two foals. Cloudy All Day is a half-sister to Listed placed High Peaks, an earner of over $147,000 to 3.

10/29/04 GOLDEN STRAVINSKY (Stravinsky/Shagadellic) dk bay colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders Inc. won a condition allowance race,the Premio Gray Ghost, in Rome,Italy by four lengths. GOLDEN STRAVINSKY now has won four of his eight starts and has earned $148,662 so far at two.

10/17/04 GOLDEN STRAVINSKY(Stravinsky/Shagadellic) dk bay colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders, Inc. finished second in the Listed Premio Eupili in Milan,Italy. A Listed Stakes winner and multiple Listed Stakes-placed GOLDEN STRAVINSKY has won or been second in five of his seven starts.

10/9/04 Never Give In (Quiet American/Give Notice) dk bay colt 5, won the featured open allowance race at Hawthorne Racecourse to notch his fifth career win in nine starts and increase his earnings to $89,510. Never Give In was listed stakes-placed at two.

10/3/04 GOLDEN STRAVINSKY (Stravinsky/Shagadellic) dk bay colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders, Inc. finished second by a nose in the Listed Premio Divino Amore in Rome Italy.Already a listed winner GOLDEN STRAVINSKY has won or been second in all his six starts.

9/19/04 FRENCH HIDEAWAY (French Deputy/Caribbean Hideway) ch filly 5, won an allowance race at Belmont Park by 51/2 lengths to increase her earnings to $110,379. Previously a stake winner, FRENCH HIDEAWAY is owned by Anstu Stable and trained by James Moloney and was purchased at the Saratoga yearling sale.

9/1/04 FAIT ACCOMPLI (Louis Quatorze/Passive Action) bay filly 3, won the nine furlong listed Saratoga Dew Stakes at Saratoga beating older fillies in her first start since January. Previously listed placed in the Busanda Stakes at Aqueduct, FAIT ACCOMPLI, a half-sister to SHERPA GUIDE, has now earned $141,010 in eight starts.

8/28/04 FRENCH HIDEAWAY (French Deputy/Caribbean Hideway) ch filly 5, won the Jack Betta Be Right Stake at Finger Lakes becoming the eighth stake horse bred by Berkshire Stud in 2004.Owned by Anstu Stable and trained by James Moloney, FRENCH HIDEAWAY took the $50,000 added stake easily on the sloppy track to increase her earnings to $82,779 in eight starts.


8/23/04 High Peaks (Peaks and Valleys/Phari) dkb filly 3, bred and owned by Berkshire Stud, won her second consecutive race at Saratoga this year a 6 furlong allowance race in 1:09 4/5 by 7 lengths. RNA'd for $25,000 at the Saratoga Preferred Sale, High Peaks is listed stakes-placed and has earned $140,307.

8/21/04 Never Give In (Quiet American/Give Notice) dkb colt 5, won his third race of the year an allowance race at Arlington Park. Stakes-placed at 2, Never Give In has earned over $70,150.


8/13/04 Earhart (A.P Jet/All Engaged) dkb filly 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and owned by Paul and Gilmary Andrews, won her second career start at Saratoga in a Maiden Special Weight race. Second at Belmont in her only previous start, Earhart has now earned $32,800 in her two outings. She was purchased for $15,000 at the Saratoga Preferred Sale of 2003.

7/31/04 High Peaks (Peaks and Valleys/Phari) b filly 3, bred and raced by Berkshire Stud, won an allowance race at Saratoga wire to wire by 9 lengths in 1:10 flat. Previously second in the Ruthless Stakes at Aqueduct, High Peaks is the first foal out of Phari by Black Tie Affair and this win takes her earnings to $113,307.Her efforts earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 96. High Peaks was RNA'd for $25,000 at the 2002 Saratoga Preferred Yearling sale.

7/25/04 SHERPA GUIDE (Ends Well/Passive Action) b gelding 6, bred and raced by Berkshire Stud finished second by a neck in the $100,000 added Evan Shipman Handicap at Belmont Park. SHERPA GUIDE, a multiple stakes winner, now has earnings of over $349,000 and is the seventh stake horse bred by Berkshire Stud in 2004.


7/4/04 DULCE DE LECHE (Distant View/Bien Sucre) ch gelding 5, bred by Berkshire Stud and partners won the Wadsworth Memorial Handicap at Finger Lakes for his third consecutive win in three tries in New York raising his earnings to $161,690. DULCE DE LECHE is a stakes winner and listed-stakes placed multiple winner.

6/19/04 Dulce de Leche (Distant View/Bien Sucre) ch gelding 5, bred by Berkshire Stud and partners won his second New York start in two attempts winning the featured allowance race at Finger Lakes. Listed Stakes-placed at 2 in France in the Prix de la Fleche, Dulce de Leche has earned $131,690.





6/4/04 GOLDEN STRAVINSKY (Stravinsky/Shagadellic) dkb colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders Inc., won the Listed Pri Alberto Guibilo in Rome, Italy. Winning by two lengths he defeated seven other colts to claim his first Stakes win.

6/1/04 Dulce de Leche (Distant View/Bien Sucre) ch gelding 5, bred by Berkshire Stud and partners won the featured allowance race at Finger Lakes in his first New York start. Placed second by a nose in the Listed Prix de la Fleche at 2, at Maisons-Laffitte in France, Dulce de Leche is a stakes-placed multiple winner of $119,150.

 

5/25/04 Symphony of Psalms (Stravinsky/Merion Miss) dkb filly 3, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders Inc., and owned by Thomas P. Tatham, won her first start of 2004 and second lifetime start winning the Prix de Choisy au Bac at Compiegne in France. Trained by John Hammond the filly won by 2 1/2 lengths eased up in the 1600 meter maiden race. She is a half-sister to G2 winner PRIVATE EMBLEM, NY Stakes winner RHUM, and NY Stakes-placed Taghkanic.


 

5/23/04 Golden Stravinsky (Stravinsky/Shagadellic) dkb colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders Inc. won a condition allowance race in Milan, Italy by six lengths. He is the first foal out of Shagadellic by Devil's Bag.

5/2/04 Golden Stravinsky (Stravinsky/Shagadellic) dkb colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders Inc.won first time out in Rome, Italy. He is the first foal out of Shagadellic by Devil's Bag.

4/25/04 Never Give In (Quiet American/Give Notice) dkb colt 5, won his second race in two starts this year winning an open allowance race at Hawthorne Racecourse. Now a winner of 3 races in 5 starts Never Give In was stakes-placed at 2 in the Sleepy Hollow at Belmont.

3/13/04 Taghkanic (Indian Charlie/Merion Miss),dk.b. filly 4, owned by Oak Cliff Breeders Inc., Berkshire Stud and Galatyn Stable ran second by a neck in the listed Broadway Handicap at Aqueduct. Bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders, Taghkanic is the third stakes horse produced by Merion Miss.


2/21/04 PRIVATE EMBLEM
(Our Emblem/Merion Miss) bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders Inc. winning the Grade III Essex Handicap at Oaklawn Park. Owned by Bob Zollars and James Cassels PRIVATE EMBLEM is also the winner of the Grade II Arkansas Derby, the Southwest Stakes, The Albany Handicap at Saratoga and over $760,000. He is a half-brother to SW RHUM $306,234.

1/25/04 Fait Accompli (bay filly 3) owned and bred by Berkshire Stud, placed third in the open listed Busanda Stakes at Aqueduct. She had previously been second in the restricted-listed Gimma Stakes at two. Fait Accompli is by Louis Quatorze out of Passive Action (Double Negative) and is a ½ sister to Sherpa Guide, SW of $313,320. Fait Accompli has now earned $101,170.

1/24/04 Speedjama (chestnut colt 3), bred by Berkshire Stud and owned by Gatsas Stable and Sovereign Stable placed third in an open allowance race at Gulfstream. Breaking his maiden in his first attempt at Aqueduct going seven furlongs, Speedjama led all the way in this 1 1/16 mile race, his second start, before tiring just before the wire. Speedjama was purchased by Gatsas and Sovereign at the 2002 Saratoga Preferred Yearling Sale and is by Elusive Quality out of Lhotse (The Minstrel).

1/4/04 High Peaks (bay filly 3), owned and bred by Berkshire Stud, placed second in the open listed Ruthless Stakes at Aqueduct in her first stake attempt. The first foal out of Phari (Black Tie Affair), High Peaks is by Peaks and Valleys and was offered for sale at the 2002 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Preferred Sale and was RNA’d for $25,000. She is now an earner of $78,735 and Listed stakes-placed.
