12/17/10 - SHINE UPON (Congaree/Look Upon/Carson City), chestnut filly three, bred by Berkshire Stud, easily won the Jena Jena Stakes at Aqueduct by 5 lengths to increase her career earnings to over $166,937. Trained by Jimmy Jerkens, Shine Upon, a multiple stakes winner, was winning for the fifth time in nine starts and remains unbeaten on Aqueduct's Inner Track. She is out of Berkshire Stud homebred Look Upon, also an Aqueduct stakes horse and half-sister to Silence Please, dam of good NY-bred two year-old SKY MUSIC.

11/18/10 SKY MUSIC (Sky Mesa/Silence Please), dark bay colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and owned by Dogwood Stable, won his second consecutive race in two career starts to take the Restrainor Stakes at Aqueduct and become an undefeated stakes winner. An easy winner by 4 lengths in a hand ride, SKY MUSIC was kept off the pace until the turn and then sent four wide to collar the leaders and draw off for the victory going one mile on the dirt. He achieved a 90 Beyer Speed figure for his effort which took his earnings to $61,800 in two starts.


11/18/10 SHINE UPON (Congaree/Look Upon), chestnut filly 3, bred by Berkshire Stud and owned by Stewart Hoffman, won an open allowance race going a mile on the dirt at Aqueduct to increase her career earnings to $130,937. Just a three year-old and already a Stakes winner, SHINE UPON should be poised for a big four year-old campaign.


11/18/10 GIMME CREDIT (Artax/Shagadellic), bay gelding seven, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders, Inc. and foaled and raised at Berkshire Stud, just keeps rolling at age seven here in an allowance race going one mile on the turf to increase his earnings to over $450,157. Already a multiple stakes winner, GIMME CREDIT came with his patented late kick to collar the leaders at the wire and get up for the allowance win at Aqueduct.


10/27/10 Swinging at Siro's (Malibu Moon/Silence Please, bay gelding 3, bred by Berkshire Stud won a maiden special weight race at Belmont Park by 7 lengths going 6 furlongs on the dirt. He is a half-brother to recent first out two year-old winner Sky Music by Sky Mesa.


10/24/10 Duke of Naples (Empire Maker/Merion Miss), bay colt 3, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders, Inc. and foaled and raised at Berkshire Stud won an allowance race at Belmont Park going 6 furlongs on the turf in 1:09 flat. Now with earnings of over $82,950, Duke of Naples is a half-brother to Arkansas Derby winner PRIVATE EMBLEM and five other stakes horses.


10/3/10 Sky Music (Sky Mesa/Silence Please), bay colt 2, bred by Berkshire Stud won his first career outing going 6 1/2 furlongs on the dirt at Belmont Park. Outrun early, Sky Music came four wide to collar the favorite at the head of the stretch and then wear him down to win by a head at first asking for Dogwood Stable and trainer Todd Pletcher.


9/18/10 Hessonite (Freud/Lakab), chestnut filly 2, bred by Berkshire Stud and Waterville Lake Stable and foaled and raised at Berkshire Stud broke her maiden in her second lifetime start and first dirt start by 8 1/2 lengths. Going 1/16 miles the filly raised her career earnings to over $29,310 in a hand ride and makes her next start in the Maid of the Mist Stake on New York Showcase day.


9/3/10 Mandy Via (Johar/Lakab), chestnut filly 3, bred by Berkshire Stud and Waterville Lake Stable and foaled and raised at Berkshire Stud won her first career start going 7.5 furlongs on the turf in a maiden special weight race at Remington Park. Mandy Via is a half-sister to SW European Rose.

5/30/10 CHESTORIA (Chester House/RD Fille), dark bay mare 6, bred by Berkshire Stud and Oak Cliff Breeders, Inc. and foaled and raised at Berkshire Stud, won the Mount Vernon Stakes at Belmont Park going 1 and 1/16 miles on the turf to increase her career earnings to over $451,556. Saving ground on the rail, CHESTORIA split horses in deep stretch to draw off for the stakes win.

3/11/10 SHINE UPON (Congaree/Look Upon), chestnut filly 3,bred by Berkshire Stud and foaled and raised at Berkshire Stud, won her third consecutive race to remain unbeaten and become a Listed stakes winner taking the mile and 70 yard open Dreamy Mimi stake at Aqueduct. The daughter of Berkshire Stud bred Look Upon is a half-sister to G1 placed Keep the Peace ($323,553). SHINE UPON now has earnings of over $84,600 in three career starts.


2/4/10 Shine Upon (Congaree/Look Upon), chestnut filly 3,bred by Berkshire Stud, won her second race in two starts taking an allowance race at Aqueduct going six furlongs on the dirt. Taking command at the head of the lane Shine Upon drew off to win by 6 lengths in a hand ride. Shine Upon is a daughter of Berkshire Stud-bred stakes placed Look Upon.
