Dropping back early, as is her style, HESSONITE waited patiently under jockey Ramon Dominquez, who was winning for the fourth time in four tries this year on HESSONITE, then exploded when asked at the head of the lane to go by the field of stakes winners catching top mare GITCHEE GOOMIE at the sixteenth pole and drawing off for the win against her elders.
